I began my journey in the furniture industry as an apprentice cabinet maker in 1987, working for a company called Surefit based in Ormskirk. From those early days, I developed a deep passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, learning the traditional skills that have shaped my career. Over the years, I’ve honed my expertise and remained dedicated to the fitted furniture industry, gaining invaluable experience across various roles and projects. These years of hands-on learning have given me an understanding of the craft that goes beyond design - each piece I work on is rooted in quality, precision, and the belief that well-made furniture transforms a home.

In 2019, after more than three decades of perfecting my craft, I founded Surefit Fitted Furniture Ltd to bring my vision of bespoke, high-quality furniture to life. Operating from our state-of-the-art workshop in Whitestake, Preston, we combine traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, using advanced CNC machinery to ensure every piece we produce meets the highest standards of accuracy and finish. My lifelong commitment to the trade and my passion for creating custom, beautiful furniture drives everything we do, from the initial consultation to the final installation.
